How's the mobile site working out for people?

Hey guys, I've been accessing the new Whiskey sites from my Droid 1. The sites themselves are working just fine, but the video playback is a little choppy. This is in areas of good 3G coverage and on wifi networks as well. My phone is pretty tricked out and I feel like this shouldn't be too much of an issue. Do you think it's just a server load issue right now and that things will get ironed out? How's everybody else's experience going?

I'd say they just need to iron out the kinks, things on launch are never perfect. Give them til next week, I'm sure Dave will be checking and testing things himself. If things don't improve by then just send him a message, he's usually pretty good about getting back to you as long as it's a reasonable question.

I haven't tested Video playback yet but other then that its super fast and works just like the real site. Again, I havn't gone too deep yet.

Wonderfully.  It's quick, responsive, and looks great.  The videos are a tad slow to load but that's not really a problem.  Once they get going, playback is consistant and smooth, at least over 3G here in WA.

its pretty cool.... loads up nice and quick.... having problems posting comments, they seem to disapear into an unkown place and the videos take a long ass time buffering even on wifi (granted its only a 1mb connection but still)
 
@Dujun:  if it doesnt redirect you when you log in go to m.tested.com and it should work for you

Good so far for me. Nice and snappy quick. The only issues I've found are iffy posting a comment from a news article and if someone links to www.tested...blah it doesn't translate that to m.tested...blah. Typing in the boxes the best I've ever seen on a site ever with my iPhone.

Works great though for some reason the videos aren't going to fullscreen on my Nexus1. I still have the notification bar at the top (doesn't happen with other videos loaded up).

@simian: that's pretty funky. are you running cyanogen by any chance? when i use its fullscreen option in the browser the vids play fullscreen ok. i'm not sure about stock or other browsers.

Yeah running CM6 stable. the full screen trick seems to work but sort of a hackey work around.

My n900 doesn't seem to be able to play the videos on the mobile site.  /starts researching html5 compliant browsers for n900 
 
EDIT:  Damn, app. firefox wont even play the videos on my n900!?  Not the full or mobile site.  Im /this/ close to just reflashing my phone and starting over as it's been acting up for awhile now.  Not being able to watch Tested is the last straw!! lol
