So, I recently purchased a Galaxy S2 in the UK, and, despite being on the same network and having the same phone as a friend, he seems to have internet connection in areas where I don't. Other friends with a 4S on the same network seem to also have the same thing. For some reason, I can't access the web in rooms where they can. This seldom happens the other way.
I was told by a customer rep to change out my sim card (for free) at my nearest store and see if that helped. Anyone here have some recommendations other than that? It's my first every smartphone so I was pretty psyched to finally get it but this issue is putting a bit of a downer on proceedings.
If you go to Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks in that area what do you see? Does it display the same network you usually connect to?
