So instead of making yet another pc rig/ how is this build topic i figured lets try something different.
so here is how this goes you post your pc build or future pc build and than you comment on the build of the person who posted before you
by recommending stuff or just tell them their build is banas crazy or very bad.

so I will start with my almost to come pc build:

That's a good list of parts. From the language, I assume you live in the Netherlands. Those prices are pretty steep compared to North America, so I assume they include VAT?

It looks very good. Although I was told to go with a 650W+ power supply and I was using a 5870 and a core I5.

I would go with a bit bigger PSU just to give yourself some space for upgrade room down the road and you could re-use it to. I have a 700W PSU and it works great for me just figured I would future proof it a bit when I put it together.

yeah they include vat. thanks for the tip on the power supply, but I also figured I will have to get an other mobo if I ever want to run 2 460's. also there is nothing against intel except the price

@JoMate:  There are actually a few motherboards that have Socket AM3 and allow SLI. Here are two examples. Don't know if they are available from stores that ship to the Netherlands though.

Aye i've heard they're more expensive and but they overclock slightly better. As i'm coming from an iMac I only know about Intel and ATI lol.

@Bigandtasty: I think I'm going for the asus since I couldn't find the msi one ;)

@Theresonlyone:
 I'm a life time mac user myself, I'm 18 now and the only windows computers I/we had were one with the green and black screen, a msdos one, than I got my own wi95(at this time wi 2000 was out) and 3 years later I got wi 98 pc wit a busted sound cart.
so yeah this will be my first decent windows computer eva! (is typing on an old mac pro G5)

Thats the same motherboard I have the MSI and love it.  I only have 1 GTX470 running in it right now, but I want to eventually put a second in and I have no complaints on the mobo at all.

I'm having a great time just reading that parts list out loud in my Swedish Chef voice.

@JoMate: Holy crap are we the same person? I'm on last generation plastic iMac looking to build my own PC for games.

@Theresonlyone: to know that for sure we will have to do a dna test and if the results are the same........................................

@GTFShadow:
 you are making me doubt whether I should get the 470gtx ( draws wallet, and stares at it ) so the next thing i will say is a quote of stewie: damn you vile women!

@JoMate: I like the GTX470, but I think you might be better off running SLI GTX460's if the mobo can handle that and PSU.  Not sure how 1 GTX 470 vs 2 GTX 460 compares.

But I eventually am going to put another GTX 470 in my PC and get another 23" monitor to go with it.  running a 23" with 19" monitor looks weird sometimes, but I can't complain about dual monitors tho :D

I'm a noob so i'd either go with a 5870 or hold off for the new AMD radion refresh and get a 5970 for much cheaper.

Being paranoid about data loss, I would add a second HD of the same model and build a RAID1 array. It looks like that motherboard supports it.

Of course, your wallet may vary.
