Runs everything (even games in windows) in max settings, couldn't ask for anything else.  My macbook is in the other room, I'll add it later.

Mine isn't custom built or anything. It's an HP Pavilion d4995t.

  • Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz
  • 4GB Crucial DDR2 PC2-5300
  • Nvidia 8500GT 512MB
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
  • 20" HP w2007 monitor @ 1680x1050
 
It's no super powerful gaming rig (especially the graphics card), but like I said in another thread, all I really play on it is Team Fortress 2 and it's more than good enough for that.

The hard drive and my PSU are probably the best things in this computer. I just bought them, and am waiting to restore my funds so I can buy a new GPU (I have my eye on a radeon HD 5770); new motherboard, processor, and memory; and a new case. (In that order) 
 
sometime next spring I will have a new computer.

Not really the biggest fan of the video card i have, my MX518 broke down a looong time ago, and i haven't bothered to get a better mouse, and i'm fine with the keyboard i have. Could use a bigger monitor, but not really a priority i guess (besides food, clothes and living, what is?)

I'm currently browsing the site on a computer mainframe with multiple screens that can play Crysis at 1,000,000p and 100 frames per second. Yeah.
