    Now yours.

  • Not quite as fancy as I used to get with XP, but I like to keep it all clean. Ignore the fact that it's 2:20 AM here. :D

  • You must have the widest shortest monitor ever :P

Love Toda Erika, I try to keep a super tidy desktop otherwise.

    Nice.
  • @MAGZine: To link it, select the text you want to link and click over the button of a chain at the side of "insert", then click put your url there.

Also, the full image should be already on your profile of the site when you upload it, so no need to do it on another site.

Edit: I see you already did it P:

thats a nice wide desktop, you should consider getting Display Fusion Pro for multi-monitor stuff. i really benefitted from it.
  • @Liminality: I was struggling to work the stupid UI, the link button wouldn't show up and I couldn't find the fullsized image link. I found I could edit the URL by removing _super from the end of it to get the original size, but the link to the original file itself should be a lot easier to find.

I got it all under control now. (but I'm still not editing that link)

  • @Jadeskye: not too sure how that would work, actually. My monitor configuraiton is actually a 24" Dell and a 20" samsung - you just can't tell because the space to fill in the empty resolution above the display on the left is black.
  • @MAGZine: doesn't matter about your resolution, it just extends the task bar, gives you more freedom to move applications around and it's freeware :D
  • @Jadeskye: I'll install it tomorrow, but I'm thinking that having the taskbar elevate in length onto my 20" might be a bit distracting.

I really need another 24" dell to match this one. but soooo expensive.
  • @MAGZine: tell me about it, i outlaid over a grand for my 3008WFP. was worth it though.
  • @Jadeskye: yeah the expensive dell monitors are worth their price. I love using picture-in-picture watching TV while doing a variety of stuff on my computer.
  • @MAGZine: Thats always fun. I use Skyplayer in windows media player now to watch cable TV in a window. it's pretty boss :D

very distracting though >_> especially when you're trying to get work done.

  • As per a few days ago. Backgrounds rotate randomly, right monitor serves as my IRC/Messaging display most of the time when I'm not working.

  • I actually just changed it:

  • @ALTF4_FOR_COLORS: i like that a lot!
  • It seems like everyone here like a nice and clean desktop. Damn those icons and shortcuts to hell!
  • @LeroyBerquist:

I like the minimal twitter program, what is that if you don't mind me asking?
  • @Jadeskye:

    Go to town.
  • @Avalanche: It's called "Tweetz" you can find it on the Microsoft Gadget site. The best twitter gadget I've come across so far.

  • Not much going on really...
  • @SoulofaRobot: i like it, you should get GlaDos to say something on boot up XP
  • @Jadeskye: Damn it... why didn't I think of that; It'd suck to forget about it and boot to have your computer talk at you in a slightly threatening passive aggressive way though... on the plus cake... she did promise delicious cake.
  • @SoulofaRobot:

  • I don't remember where I saw this image, but I do know that as soon as I did, I made it into a wallpaper.

I'm in the middle of upgrading to new hardware, but being the broke college kid that I am, it will take a while. 'Till then, this 1280x1024 toting windows XP machine will have to do.
