  • Dear Tester.com crew

My summer vacation have arrived and that means that i am going home to work in order to earn some money my last year as a Ms.C student. The problem is that i need some podcasts to fill out my iPod in order to kill time while at work.

So what i am searching for is your recommendation as to technology podcasts worth listening to. The different podcast i listen to now is of course "This Is Only A Test", "The Giant Bombcast" and a couple of danish podcasts ...

Hope you all have an amazing summer !

  • Well the TWIT (This Week In Tech) network is quite famous fairly good for technology podcasts. Some people aren't fans but I personally enjoy TWIT (the general tech focused podcast) and TWIG (The google and more generally cloud and social media podcast). The topics they cover are often similar but they each have different guests and TWIT especially has a large rotation of guests from around the tech and journalism world, So check them out!

  • Radiolab - no doubt about it.

  • Radiolab is good

PC Perspective and TWICH (This Week in Computer Hardware)

    Tekzilla/HD Nation

    Hak5

PC Gamer if you are into gaming as well :)

There's also the Ars Technicast and the Vergecast but I haven't really formed an opinion of those yet, only listend to a couple episodes so far. The others above I listen to as often as possible.

  • Amazing suggestions, thank you so much for the suggestions, they are sure to keep me going all through the summer, along some audiobooks from audible :-p

Have a nice summer all of you :-)

  • Radiolab thirded.

The TWiT network stuff is okay if you just need something to listen to, but there are better podcasts in my opinion.

I've been really into the Idle Thumbs podcasts for a while now, it's a gaming podcast that I enjoy about as much as the Bombcast. That said, i'm YEARS behind, so the current podcast could be garbage, I have no idea.

  • PC gamer is quite good. Granted i have only listened to it once but they have a good chemistry and a nice flow.

  • Radiolab is awesome. This American Life is also very good.

  • If you want to catch up on older podcasts, This Year is a great site. Those compilations would keep you busy for a while.

  • @zoozilla: holy crap, I forgot about This Year. Doubly recommended.

Now to play catch-up on playing catch-up.

  • Speaking of Radiolab... I listened to their "Unraveling Bolero" story last night before heading out. That was one hell of a creepy and rather depressing story - and needless to say I didn't really feel like going out after listening to it. Interesting story nonetheless.
