@OJ: I was under the impression that the Whiskey Media Roku app channels were maintained by someone at the Whiskey Media headquarters in San Francisco.
I know it's not what your looking for, but if you have an HTPC connected to your Tv, you could use Xbmc? I use the Whiskey apps on it every day, subscriber content especially.
Managed to download the Whiskey Beta channel, but it doesn't work. It wont let me log in, I guess that's down to the takeover? Anyone know of any workarounds or fixes?
would it be possible to get Tested Giant Bomb etc on Roku in the UK.

Somehow i dont think will ever get it in the UK on Roku.
