Workshop for apartment ideas

  • I'll be getting a one bedroom apartment come summer and I'm taking on a project to make myself a workshop with the limited space. I have been bouncing with the ideas of converting half of the living room if I can find a large enough one into a workspace and the other half remaining with couches and the TV. I've also considered after seeing some images online of making the bedroom designated to a workshop. If I can find myself a two bedroom I can afford then that answers that question but I am curious to get some ideas from you guys of some ways of going about this. I'll have to eventually look into soundproofing walls as well depending on how thin my walls end up being
  • Not just the space but set up ideas as well
  • Just want to bump this up in case anyone out there has ideas. I've been messing around with drawing up possible floor plans until I find the actual apartment and know the dimensions I'll be working with. I'm hoping to find one that has a dining room space that I can instead convert into the work space

  • Have you seen this gallery? Might have some ideas :)

Also, Adam has been retweeting a lot of submitted photos on his Twitter-profile. If you scroll through his retweets back to early March, you'll get a lot of them with some great solutions :)
