Makerbot had a table at this years Blipfestival, and I asked the two men there if they had heard of Tested.
No, they hadn't.
So, I'm seeing these guys again in the next few days - do you think its possible people at Makerbot know about Tested and that, these two guys (who ARE Makerbot employees. not just two random dudes.) just happened to be the only ones who didn't know?
In any case, its good for both parties right? They find out that they've been getting free promotion, Tested gains a few new visitors.
I've been talking to Bre Pettis, one of the founders of Makerbot, for more than a year. They've hired a bunch of people this year though, so it isn't necessarily surprising that not everyone knows about us. Ultimately, our Makerbot videos are not the type of thing the Makerbot is designed for, I just think it's awesome to turn bits into physical objects :)
