When I plug these directly into my monitor instead of the PC, I can't find them with the Realtek HD Audio Manager. As such, I'm unable to configure them directly. I did a subwoofer test and they still work (PC only recognises the input as 2.0 and not 2.1) so things seem fine. However, I'd like to have the ability to fine tune things as well.
Should I plug them into the PC instead? The only issue is that my PS4 is attached to the monitor too so I'd like to have the speakers working with both systems.
Ugh, so plugging it directly into the monitor means that there's a 2 second delay before sound starts outputting - noticeable when first starting any YouTube videos. What a weird problem.
@Vitor: think this is a "feature", they do it to save power, it waits for an input then powers up to give you the output.
