I know, right?  If the price wasn't so good I'd move somewhere that didn't have the badness.

I've got a Harmony as well and absolutely love the thing.  What IR sensor are you using with your HTPC that works with the Harmony?  I've been meaning to find one so I can attempt to ditch the cable box.
  • Sorry for the crappy picture, it's all I had stored on my phone.

    HTPC: Zotac IONITX-A-U 1.6ghz atom dual core on 441 nVidia with 9400m, 2x2GB G. Skill DDR2 800, HDHomerun - Win 7  64bit
Software: Windows Media Center with Media Browser and Meta Browser.  Movie playback through Media Player Classic - audio decoding done on the receiver.  I control it via. HippoRemote on an old iPhone or with a Logitech PS3 BT Keyboard
Media Storage: 7x1TB WD Greens (EADS)  in Raid 5 on my media server (ubuntu) - located in the office, 3TB on the HTPC (for recording ota tv)
Streaming: Archived/re-encoded/edited  tv, movies, music, all local backups stored on server
Airport express to stream to receiver -- a few of them located around the house so I can get music going everywhere
Xbox 360's as media center extenders (stream from central atom htpc)
Obligatory Xbox/Ps3 (I feel obligated to state PC FTW)
    TV: Panasonic 50in Plasma (S-series)
Headphones: Sennheiser wireless (not real happy with these)
    Receiver: Denon 1910  (90Wx7) -> 7.1 in living room -> outdoors (channel B)
All speakers are TST's (The Speaker Company // Sapphire-- just went out of business)
Fronts: TST 2x8in midbass, 2x6.5in mids, 1x tweeter
    Center: 2x6.5in mids, 1x tweeter
    Surrounds: 2x6.5in, 1x tweeter Dipoles
    Rears: 1x6.5in, 1x tweeter bookshelves
Bass: 2x10in TST sub in ported box with 300W rms, aura bass shakers

There's one built into my HTPC. It worked once and not ever since. So instead I used and MCE receiver. Set up the harmony as an MCE Keyboard.
I followed this thread at XBMC.org forums.
