Purple Clover spam email

  • Hi,

    Last night I received a spam email from Purple Clover. It's odd because the email it was sent to is only associated with Tested.com. I use a different email address for each site I'm subscribed to so that means it's somehow come from here.

    Has anybody else had the same?

  • @OldManJim: Don't worry, there hasn't been a security breach and we haven't shared your email address with a new company. Purple Clover is a sister site of Tested and owned by the same parent company. There was an unfortunate human error this morning that merged some Tested.com email addresses into a newsletter campaign. We apologize for the confusion and promise there was no nefarious intention behind this.

    This should be a one time mistake as a solution has been put in place to stop it from happening again. Please write to us at support@tested.com if you have any further questions and we'll be happy to help.
