Huge congratulations to Gary and Leah. Being a parent is the most amazing feeling, and watching your own child grow up is a magical experience. My youngest celebrates his first birthday in a couple of weeks and this past year has reminded me just how brilliant babies are. Anyway, I'm sure you have heard similar tales from more people than it is possible to count by now so I'm going to talk about football (soccer) for a second instead, but bear with me.
In January 2010 the birth rate in Barcelona, Spain shot up by 45%. It's on record, you can find it easily with a Google search. A lot of people say the reason has a direct correlation with the incredible run of spectacular wins the city's football team had in massive games and how the menfolk of Barcelona chose to celebrate.
In the space of a week or two Barcelona Football Club beat Chelsea in an incredibly dramatic fashion in London to qualify for the Champions League final, then they thrashed their fierce rivals Real Madrid in Madrid 6-2 to all but seal the Spanish championship, then they beat Manchester United in England to win the Champions League and confirm their undeniable status as the best football team in the world. This clearly made the local men in Barcelona very happy and excited. Love was in the air. Babies were made.
Baby Whitta was born in the first week in July. She would have been conceived during the first week in October 2011.
When was the iPhone 4s announced/released again?
Can we expect another baby Whitta exactly 9 months after the iPhone 5 comes out?
