Is there a website that tells you when Amazon Instant movies go on sale?

  • I am really getting into the buying of movies and TV shows outright at the Amazon Instant Video service. I have access to it through my Roku and my new computer build and find they fit my bill and lifestyle perfectly.

So I went looking for Star Trek films to buy last week, and saw that Wrath Of Khan was the only one on sale to buy at a discounted price of $4.99. All the other movies in the series were the regular price which is $9.99. Now, as far as I know, Amazon was not advertising such a popular title for such a great price, and I've noticed this happening from time to time too on other various popular titles. I even checked the Deals page on Amazon Instant Video and could not find anything mentioning such a good title at such a good price.

Is there a website / blog that keeps up with new discounted prices for Amazon Instant Video purchases? I know Amazon Instant Video has a mailing list and all they use every so often to advertise a large scale sale, which they did last week with the Harry Potter saga, but I feel this method misses the point of what I'm asking for. Amazon seems to have an way of organizing their sections too.

  • Googled, and done. As long as you know what you're looking for.

Or if you just want to know when everything in general drops in price, there's this:

  • @Conmused: I fucking LOVE Camelcamelcamel. Thanks to them, I got a pair of $500 headphones for like $150. They can send DMs to your Twitter account and everything! And their graphs are great to give you piece of mind that you aren't being ripped off or missing out on a seasonal price drop.

    Great shit.

  • That sites pretty darn awesome!
