From the UK so it was just a bank holiday for us but unfortunately I spent the day revising for my exam tomorrow. Sim City 3000 sounds like heaven right now, i might have to crack it out over this summer.

Sorry to hear... normally I work 60+ hours a week and had 2 days off.  It was like a vacation for me, so nice!

@ebritt: I tell ya, Sim City 3000 refuses to age, however UFO's are really getting on my nerves. They even destroyed my Microwave Power Plant "Sniffle*   :'(

@GTFShadow:
Oh man I had a GREAT weekend!  Went camping, did some biking, swimming, canoeing, and kite flying.  I got the kite stuck in a tree.  Followed by a rock tied to a string, followed by a pocket knife tied to a string, followed by a tree lopper which I lashed to a 30 foot pole.  All caught in the tree.  I got it all down, though.  About 3 hours later...

@darkhelmet46: That is awesome!  I did some camping of my own as well.  With some jet skiing and swimming at the lake.  I love the great out doors and doing all fun camping stuff.

Also GG on the kite i must say xD

@intoblivion: I live only 2 hours away from our family's cabin.  It's nice being able to go up on weekends and get away from work and just life in general!

I take a moment to be thankful for the sacrifices that military personal made in the past, think about it how it applies for the better of humanity and our current world, and then I went onto a normal, typical weekend.  I don't celebrate Memorial Day.  I think of the people its dedicated to, but I don't have a party or good-times.  I find that in bad taste.  It should only a good time for those who served.  Everyone else should shut-up and stop taking the weekend off for a vacation and to be self-indulgent once again.
