Which one do you prefer? I purchased Audiosurf and i love that game it is really good and makes a  great interactive visualizer. Beat Hazard is FREAKING AMAZING it is SO visual pleases and seizure causing epicness.

I wanna warn you guys if you download the demo. Don't waist the 9 song uses on slow songs or it will screw the experience

it's seizure-ific! like audiosurf and everyday shooter combined. also best played with a gamepad.

@norman: Using the gamepad actually made it a little easier

Beat Hazard kicks Audiosurfs ass.

I've played both and definitely prefer Beat Hazard. Don't take that seizure warning lightly though because it is totally warranted! The first time I played it I was a little drunk and the game definitely didn't help...

I tried Audiosurf for a bit, but all my music is on my OSX partition, so I could only use the included songs it came with.  It seemed okay, but not so much my thing.
I haven't tried Beat Hazard, but I may give it a shot if people recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoy Beat Hazard. It does for me what I wished Audiosurf had, which is making me feel badass when I play a really fast, badass song. Audiosurf was groovy, but I felt I couldn't enjoy the music as much when I had to focus on comboing the different colours. Beat Hazard is simple: The faster/more intense the song, the more enemies appear and the more damage you do.

And when you beat an 8 minute Metallica song on the highest difficulty, you'll feel pretty badass.

I guess I would conclude that a person who enjoys slower, puzzle gameplay and thus slower music should go with Audiosurf, whereas those who enjoy more intense shootemup gameplay with similarly intense music should go with Beat Hazard.

I like puzzle games more than shooters so AudioSurf.

That's why I only play mono.

I played both and enjoyed more Beat Hazard. I just couldn't do good enough on audiosurf to like it I guess.

I own Audiosurf and downloaded the beat hazard demo, Audiosurf > Beat Hazard, it just seems to do more with the music.

I have only played the demo for beat hazard so far but I am actually preferring it to audiosurf. When I first got audiosurf I played it so much but as time went on I just got sort of frustrated with it because on faster songs when not playing as the single color dude (forget his name now) it can become a pain. I never felt like I could apply strategy to it because of how fast it goes and just started grabbing every color but still getting "gold" on a lot of songs without even trying, just grew boring.

Beat Hazard on the other hand is just a lot of fun to play, though it has that problem of a lot of my favorite songs not being very good choices to play because I can't kill anything. I still want to actually purchase it though I have had a lot of fun with the demo.
