I have done a fair bit of research on headsets, I wanted ones with great sound, Eventually it came down to these bad boys. I was hearing they had issues at launch but were updated with firmware to fix those, but few say they still have and some say they no longer have. I asked Will to give them another shot with the update installed but he has be too busy. So now I ask the tested users wheat there experience with this headset has been? I plan on using it for my 360.
I do not trust random youtube videos or reviewers about this stuff, Tested is the Tech site I follow and so I want to hear what Tested thinks.

I've got A40s and they're fantastic best set of headphones I've ever used.
I'm not a massive audiophile, but I like a good sound.
i'm not sure about the specific issue you're referring to, so I can't help you out there since I'm on the A40s but they've been well worth the money.
I had Trittons before, which were good, but they were never close to the A40s
