Zojirushi + Aero Press

  • I just got my zojirushi & I cant wait to use it. I've had the aero press for a month now and I'm loving it.

Quick question, how much coffee should I make from the aero press for it be enough to fill the zojirushi.

I currently use 2 aero press coffee scoops to make me 1 cup of coffee. How many should I use to make it for the zojirushi?

  • How big is the cup of coffee that you make now? If your making a 8 oz cup of coffee with 2 scoops, and the zojirushi is about 17 oz then you should use 4 scoops. If your making a 12 oz cup then you should try 3 scoops.

  • I typically use an inverted AeroPress technique, which yields enough to fit a typical cup/mug, but it won't fill a Zojirushi. I usually use a Hario V60 to fill my Zojirushi and my on-the-go coffee needs.

  • @Evelgest: Same here, stopped adding water to normal Aeropress mug brews when I started using the inverted method. I find the amount of coffee and strength to be pretty great.

  • I just got a zojirushi, had to get it sent from amazon US to myself in the UK. I use my chemex for it and use about 550ml of water which equates to 33g of coffee.
