The new version of the Arduino breadboard is available, and it now comes with integrated USB support. Get ready for Makers to create even more amazing DIY gadgets.

The new Arduino Nano 3.0 is available for purchase now, and those in the DIY community should take note. The Arduino is a surface mount breadboard system that allows you to make all manner of electronic wonders. The Nano 3.0 has integrated support for mini-B USB, auto-sensing power input, a few LEDs, and not much else (but that’s the point).

The Arduino has long been used in the Maker community to build some fantastic things. One industrious hacker managed to create an open-source Gameboy using an Arduino at its core. The Arduino can even be used to make more elaborate gear like a laser harp. When you think you’ve run out of ideas for the Arduino, just remember that someone also used it to create a functional model of the Predator UAV. The possibilities are quite nearly endless - provided you have the imagination. The board can be had for $34.99 from MakerShed.
