Glass Blowing As Seen Through Thermal Imaging
Filmmaker Ethan Steinman filmed Seattle-based glass artist Boyd Sugiki at work blowing a glass cup using a thermal imaging camera. The camera he used was a FLIR SC660, a professional grade thermal camera that records 640x480 video. FLIR was actually at CES this year showing off a new consumer product, the FLIR One system that puts a thermal imaging camera onto an iPhone 5 or 5S. That's expected to retail for $350.
