The Journey of a Shipped Package
Artist and maker Ruben van der Vleuten documented the journey of a shipped package from post office to delivery with a really clever hack: he loaded his package with a camera and arduino-based timer circuit that would automatically capture snippets of video every minute and when the device detected movement (eg. transportation). Van der Vleuten then cherry picked the most interesting scenes for this video, showing the shipping process from the package's point of view. My favorite scene: riding along automated conveyor belts inside busy shipping centers with thousands of other packages.
