There were two things I got wrong in last week's Show and Tell video, featuring the Bandit Guns rubber band launcher. First, the model I was demonstrating was not semi-automatic as said on camera, though technically it works that way if you hold the trigger down. Second, I can't claim that it's the coolest rubber band gun ever, now that I've seen Ogg Craft's creations. Ogg Craft is a maker in Japan who builds one-off wooden rubber band guns, some of which are semi-automatic, and some of which are fully automatic. The 52 models he's built so far document decades of inventive engineering work. And though these projects aren't sold, the site hosts schematics to make your own if you have the right tools and materials.
