Cool, vid man.  I have ipod touch but not ipad.
weird comment about balls...
Kovskion Sept. 4, 2010 at 10:59 a.m.
I realized that the ipad would be really great for digital tabletop games, like you could take out while you travel!
Also, I'd bounce Will's balls with my balls.

Nice you showed Solipskier.  Norm you're supposed to jump through all the green gates because it gives you twice the multiplier that way, and makes you go incredibly fast.

Osfoora HD is my favourite twitter app, it also loads links. Leo mentioned it on ipad today.

You guys need to figure out (perfect for an article on tested) how to show video off of an ipad like 'ol Jobs does... Please - would make these videos much better and I'd love to know how to show video on my iPhone as well.

After all of that ball-talk I'm not sure Norm should be allowed on a children's schoolyard.
Dezinuson Sept. 4, 2010 at 2:04 p.m.
Ugh, Zombie Invasion is everything that is wrong with iphone games. Would be much better on XBLA or something. Stop trying to make non-touch games on a touch-only device you big dummies!

The iPad is high on my list of stuff to buy if I had lots of money.

POGS!!!!!!!!!!

@TheAdmin: They use Apple-only software tools to do that. It's crap. When I have some time, I'm going to build an armature to hold this stuff in place. We might even get a creepy fake mannequin hand to hold it.

@Dezinus: The game controls better than this video shows. Because of the way we setup the camera, Norm was driving one side while I was driving the other. It was... difficult to say the least.
Kasumion Sept. 4, 2010 at 6:54 p.m.
@will:  It'd be funny (but kinda interesting) if the game supported an Iphone to control movement and the Ipad person to do the shooting. Co-op, baby, Yeah !
I mean, I've seen the Iphone that takes control of a motorized remote wall bracket for your TV via a little attachment and app, so I suppose anything is possible ...

@Kasumi: Wait for the Big, Big Live Show. We have something coming that's going to blow your mind.

To sum it up i pretty much like everything. The one thing i have to nag about is the white color on the site. I hate white!!! Makes my eyes go nuts.

I must have that android specimen...
El_Derricoon Sept. 4, 2010 at 11:51 p.m.
That marble game is the only game I've seen so far that's perfect for the iPad's touch interface. Your hands don't actually cover up the screen while you're playing. Every iPhone game I've played does that, except for Paper Toss, which is basically the same kind of game. Since Apple is selling a crappy little disposable $50 iPod Shuffle, why don't they sell a crappy little disposable $50 (or cheaper) game pad? Something tells me I'll be asking that question till I'm six feet deep.

that ski game reminded me of line rider :D

Seriously, I hope there is a great Android Tablet Competitor because so far after watching these videos and just having an Ipad sitting at your desk when you were upgrading Makerbot... I think I might have to make one a Christmas gift for myself. The games look great, glad to see more than just Paper Toss type.

I always enjoy these Apps of the Week videos, it is a cool way to see some apps that I wouldn't normally find on the huge app store.
Sparklykisson Sept. 11, 2010 at 1:48 p.m.
Oh man, Solipskier looked really fun. I want to play the Marble Monster game with Ana. I would do so well.
